ABOUT BLANKA
My name is Blanka Grobelna. I am a final year student of architecture at UWTSD. In the last year of my studies, we were given the task of creating a masterplan for the Swansea Waterfront area and then selecting one site within it to design one of the selected buildings. My choice was the Art Gallery in memory of Augustus and Gwen John, who grew up in Wales. The building was also set up a temporary Art Gallery and future artists Art Gallery to help discover new outstanding painters. This project was designed to assist with the Swansea Waterfront regeneration process and to create a coherent landscape surrounding with appropriate sustainability of design systems.
