I am a third year student, studying Automotive Design at the University of Wales Trinity St David in Swansea. I come from a small village in South Wales, my lifelong passion has always been cars from all generations. My current design software proficiencies are Auto Desk, Alias, V-red, Photoshop, Fusion 360. In the future I aspire to become a specialist CAD designer.
The personal project rational that I chose was to create a vehicle that places the driver fully in control at the heart of the vehicle, empowers them to be fearless and tackle life head on. Furthermore, I sought to orchestrate an outcome that would influence the future direction of the automotive industry. I endeavoured to produce a hyper-estate vehicle that was original and imaginative, whilst still emulating Lexus’ distinguished spirit and passion.
My Lexus LF-X will greatly benefit from the pioneering technology that provides sustainable energy in the form of a hydro-electric drivetrain and powered by 4 brushless motors in the all-wheel drive set up. The extraordinary central front driving position will empower a unique adventurous drive, an additional 4 rear seats and a rear central ISOfix car seat point meet the demands of most modern, flexible families.
