About Selmo
Incorporating research into consciousness, immersion and participation into the themes of my work, I have sought to develop my skills as a producer and musician.
The work has been developed with three key aims in mind:
To expand research into consciousness and participation in the field of Art by introducing ideas developed by scholars and phenomenologists such as Rudolf Steiner, Henry Sedgwick and Goethe, who emphasised the role of perception in scientific research.
To encourage a change of paradigm in ethics from a duty-based utilitarianism to a love-based utilitarianism, considering the implications of our evolution as a species and the role of ethics in our further development.
To engage with the world of Art through Sound on a scholarly level, producing artwork which is both informative and entertaining.
