ABOUT MOLLY
I have been inspired by the beauty of the French Riviera. The collection is heavily inspired by a variety of elements such as architecture, colour, film, cuisine and artists that have called it home.
The collection was designed to be very fashion forward, through my favoured pattern design process, digital design. I wanted my patterns to be as commercial as possible due to the collection being designed with a high street customer in mind, but also without losing the unique retro style and feel.
One of the defining features of my womenswear collection is the palette. As someone who naturally works well with colours and creating combinations of colour, I was instantly drawn to the colours of the French Riviera and could immediately see it working well as a summer fashion collection.
When I graduate from UWTSD, I am taking time to recharge, reflect, as well as look forward to my next steps as a young designer. I hope to be employed either within print design for fashion, or within a trend research role.
