During the past year I have developed my passion for architecture, and with the skills I’ve acquired, managed to hone my practice towards Frank Lloyd Wright’s idea of architecture becoming ‘One’ with nature. Arriving at the end of the year on the topic ‘Survival’ I was able to venture down the path of linking futurism with wildlife. I started with a thought… “If we as humans can choose to live in fancy bespoke houses with beauty, thought, and cutting edge design in every crevice; why can’t we chose that for animals?”
Throughout my year I completed a few computer models of Neofuturistic houses. I wanted to return to these projects I had put aside and reimagine some of the empty spaces to accommodate birds. After all, a famous man once said: “Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Albert Einstein
